Heather Drew is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) living & working in Philadelphia, PA. Heather is a woman of many interests, working professionally as a psychotherapist, adjunct graduate level professor, speaker, writer, yoga teacher, and podcaster. She holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, a post-graduate certification in Global Trauma Recovery, and a 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Yoga Alliance. She currently provides counseling at her private practice in Mt. Airy, a northwest section of Philadelphia.

Heather specializes in multi-theory psychotherapy, particularly with survivors of abuse and other types of trauma, as well as various types of stress disorders. She has experience working with people from from a vast array of cultures, spiritual backgrounds, and age groups. She collaborates with trauma healing professionals and volunteers around the globe. On these engagement trips, she partners with other psychotherapists and educators to facilitate dialogue-based trainings for NGO leaders and helping professionals who are working to proliferate healing opportunities in traumatized regions.

Amidst her career pursuits, Heather is a woman who lives and loves fiercely – with whole body, mind, heart, & spirit. She is always-ever a wife; a mother to two creative, funny, and curious daughters; and a soul-friend to a very small handful of fictive kin.

Heather manifests her intrinsic contemplative side as often as possible. This project –– particularly in her weekly podcast –– is an extension of that life commitment to process. This is a space for authentic expression, for mindful and intentional living, for collaborating with unique & thoughtful voices, and for exploring this world of wondrous possibilities.
